Rogue Gem Crisis

Help!

Ever since I have been upgrading my gear (which has MUCH less hit) I have had to gem for hit- in order to meet cap. It has actually brought my dps DOWN!
why?

Will someone with some knowledge about stats or caps or something PLEASE help me gem correctly to maximize dps??
PLEASE!

I should be WAY higher than what I currently am.

Mark of Supremacy Trinket (Triumph badges) IS higher ilevel and gives 128 hit.  Just have to remember to use it in combat (a macro will take care of that).  I have always assumed the heroic presence buff will be in effect (if not, eat hit food).

After the trinket, see what kinda hit you can shed. 

Looking at your current gear, you should only have 1 blue gem socketed (to activate meta), it should be in the chest piece, and it should be a nightmare tear.  You have 4 other blue sockets on your gear, gem them with red's....much debate about which one....some say stack arp, others say agi or ap.

Shoulders, head, hands & belt are the pieces that you want to match socket colors on.  All the others should have red gems.

Not sure on the engineering boot enchant (you get 24 crit, common enchant gives 12 crit, 12 hit).  I ain't no engineer.

Rotation: SS to 5 combo points, Slice and Dice, Spam 5 point Evicerates until slice and dice is about to fall off. Repeat.

Download "HEAR KITTY" addon.  It plays a sequence of tones as you build combo points.  You get so used to it, that you know how many combo points you are at, without taking your eyes off the fight (may not increase dps, but will help you to survive now that you got rid of those icky stamina gems).

Another addon is Rogue Power Bars.  Configure it to only show Slice and Dice buff. 

Opener: Tricks of the trade on main tank, mark of supremacy trinket, Blade fury, Killing spree, Adranaline Rush....then into your rotation.

I guess what I didn't mention, is that I stopped using Mark of Supremacy and gemmed for hit because I was about to get the War Totem trinket- which has NO hit- so I was "preparing" for that, I guess.

Then I decided not to get it YET and save for the chest piece.

so I will regem like you said.. but when I DO get that trinket, it will be this mess all over again, right?
